Click here for U-tube video of Michael Monroe in Performance
From vinyl to digital, Michael Monroe is now in his fourth decade of performing nationally in concert, festival, corporate and educational settings. He has travelled many miles since his first paid performance for an audience of 4000 and he recorded his first demo 30 years ago in a "chicken coop" studio owned by Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary.
His unique creation of music leaves his audiences mesmerized as he blends his rich vocals, guitar, bamboo and glass flutes, combining musical styles of acoustic folk and jazzy reggae. Michael's original music and compelling energy bring a powerful style that is as much fun as it is innovative,,, music and technology working together powered by creativity... and he recycles his music on stage with his "live" layering/looping technique.
Tickets: $ 15 Adults, $12 Seniors and Members, $5 Children 8th grade and younger. Click here to buy tickets online, Tickets also available at the Arts Alliance Gallery 763-441-4725 and at the door.

Dear Friend of the Arts,
You are invited to the Elk River Area Arts Alliance Third Annual Heart of the Arts Gala on Thursday, April 24th at the Wellstead of Rogers. We hope that you will be able to join us for a very entertaining evening! The theme is April in Paris and it is going to really feel like Paris! We have lot's of great auction items coming in, and a lovely menu planned. You can enjoy visiting with your friends and experiencing ART in its many forms from 6 PM to 7:30 PM followed by a French inspired dinner. Information about the Gala is on our website www.elkriverart.org and we will be adding to it regularly. Tickets are $75 each. ($40 of that is a tax deductible contribution!) We are looking for table hosts who would like to decorate their table in the theme of a French Artist. Table sponsorships are still available at $1000.
Arts are essential to the health of our Community. This is the Arts Alliances primary fundraiser so come join the fun while you help support the Arts!

Storefront is US.
716 Main Street, Elk River, Minnesota, will soon be the hot new address for the arts in the Northwest quadrant.
Through an agreement with the City of Elk River's Housing Redevelopment Authority, the Arts Alliance will have a storefront facility in downtown Elk River for at least two years. Many exciting ideas are being talked about how this new facility will help spread the work of the Arts Alliance to more people.
You can be a part of this new, exciting venture. Call the Arts Alliance office and say,"I want in too!"
